Located on Tasmania island, Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park is one of main attractions on the island. It is also has been becomes the Tasmanian World Heritage Wilderness Area. The beautiful Dove Lake also located at this national park. It is 6.6 kilometers long and lies at latitude 950 meters above sea level. To the south, you can find the Lake St Clair, the deepest natural freshwater in Australia. Tasmania’s highest mountain also located at this national park, namely Mount Ossa with the height 1.617 meters. For nature lovers, Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park is a perfect place to visit because it is filled by various of nature landscapes. This national park also becomes home to many rare of animals such as Tasmanian Devil, Marsupials, Platypus, Macropods and more than 78 species of birds can be found here.
Tips : To get Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park you can come from Burnie ( a port city in Tasmania), it is approximately 60 kilometers from the national park. Several lodges are available at the national park, but for those of you who likes camping, there are several campsites which can be booked.
